There will be a rebate program for residents of SC on qualifying Energy Star Appliances. The rebates are given instantly at the register for qualifying appliances bought in store. Installers for whole-house equipment such as water heaters and HVAC systems will reserve the rebates online - and then pass along a mail-in rebate form to customers. This rebate will only last while funds are available - the site says it's expected to last around a week. The rebates will range from $50 - $100. You can get the details right here.
