BiLo Bargain Meal of the Week - Tangy Ranch Chicken

YUM!  As soon as I saw that boneless skinless chicken breasts were on sale this week at BiLo, I knew I was going to want to share a recipe that we tried out last week!  It is delicious!  I saw this on the back of a bottle of French's Mustard...the only thing that I changes was the quantity!  As soon as I made this, my boys immediately asked for more dipping sauce, so I made another batch.  Thankfully it's not only good, it's very quick and super easy too.

Tangy Ranch Chicken

1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts - $1.79/lb

2/3 cup Ranch Dressing
Kraft Salad Dressing - $1.67
USE 55¢ OFF printable
MAKES IT 57¢

1/3 cup Yellow Mustard
French's Classic Yellow Mustard - $1.46 (not a sale price)
USE 50¢ OFF from SS 5/9
MAKES IT 46¢

1/4 Brown Sugar
2lb bag Southern Home - Price Lock @ $1.50

TOTAL COST - $4.32

Want to make it an even better deal?  Buy two Kraft dressings and use two 55¢ printables.  You're going to get a coupon back for $1 OFF your next order.  Then purchase the
remainder of the ingredients (using all coupons).

 You'll only pay a total of $3.89!

**Obviously, mustard and brown sugar are staples I keep in the pantry and buy when they're on sale - so that makes this an even more budget-friendly recipe!**

Combine the ranch, mustard, and sugar and pour 2/3 of the sauce into a zip-lock bag to with chicken.  Marinate the chicken in the fridge (30 minutes worked for us, but I imagine this would be even better the longer it sits).  You can then either grill the chicken or bake it in the oven @ 350° for 25 minutes.  Use the remaining sauce for dipping.  Personal recommendation - make extra!  Your family is going to love this stuff.

My son says it tastes like "honey mustard - but better!"  He also suggested that this recipe be renamed "Really, Really Good Chicken!"

I hope you like it - let me know what you think!
