BACKYARD BRATS
Here's an easy "change-up" from they basic burger and hot dogs meal for Fourth of July! This is definitely a huge favorite at house. The Brats are SO good after you've cooked them in the beer and then toasted them up on the grill. YUM!

From the Pantry or Fridge:
-1 large or 2 medium onions sliced thinly
-1 12 oz beer (brand doesn't matter)
-1 tsp Caraway Seeds (optional)
-1 tbsp olive oil or butter
TOTAL COST: $4.10!
Cover the Brats, onions, and caraway seeds with beer and bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer for around 5-10 minutes. Drain the beer off, and put the brats aside. Cook the onions on low in the pan with a small drizzle of olive oil or butter until caramelized (15-20 minutes). Then grill the Brats over medium coals until lightly browned on all sides. Serve on buns with mustard and covered with the caramelized onions.
