Bi-Lo Bargain Meal of the Week - Barbecue Pork Spare Ribs

Barbecue Pork Spare Ribs

Spring is here and that means we're taking lots of our meals outside.  These ribs can be finished off under the broiler, or the grill.  Keep the paper towels handy though, these are sure to be messy!

*We LOVE the new Carolina Gold flavor!  It's really good for bottled BBQ sauce!*

From The Pantry or Fridge:

Salt & Pepper

Preheat oven to 250°.  Spray a 9x13 glass baking dish with non-stick spray (or cover in foil and then spray).  Place the ribs in the dish, then salt and pepper liberally.  Then cover with  about half the bottle of barbecue sauce.  Cover with more foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours.  Flip the ribs over and use the remaining sauce.  Cover again and bake an additional hour.  Uncover and put under the broiler for 10-15 minutes.  If you're making these on the grill be sure to use indirect heat!  Low and slow will make your ribs super tender!

EASY SIDES:

Coleslaw
Green Cabbage - 49¢/lb

Corn on the Cob
Green Giant Corn on the Cob - $2.50
USE 50¢ OFF printable
